Virtual Service Learning Projects
At Wisconsin Connections Academy, we live by the phrase, "We will grow. We will serve. We will explore." We believe that it is also through serving others that we grow as individuals, and we want to provide multiple opportunities for our students and families to be involved in the practice of volunteering.
“Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
We have several virtual service learning projects and ideas that students, families, and teachers can do together to help serve others in their community. Please be sure to read the instructions for each service project completely, as there are specific steps to follow based on which option(s) you choose.
